Biologists have a love for science, most of the daily tasks done by a biologist involve the scientific method. The scientific method is a series of steps taken by a scientist to carry out some sort of experiment. It starts by asking a question about whatever it may be that you are interested in, followed by developing a hypothesis. Next you would design an experiment having a control and a test group. Once the experiment is complete you would observe your results and see if they match your hypothesis and see if you can develop some sort of theory as to why this took place.

Using the scientific method, biologists conduct many experiments to gather data for research in order to prove or disprove various theories. Biologists work any almost any field in the macroscopic and microscopic levels. Most of the work is done in a laboratory applying the scientific method. The daily life of a biologist is one that involves lots of science and a passion for the scientific world.
